To teach the children about responsibility and citizenship, the school have linked with three local residential homes.

Reception has linked with Green Willow Residential Home
Y1 has linked with White Lodge Residential Care Home
Y2 has linked with Rustington Hall Residential Care Home

A different group of children have the opportunity to visit these Residential Homes each term and work with the residents either doing arts and crafts, gardening or some other engaging activity.

Our sessions aim to help make the residents lives more enjoyable as well as developing an understanding of the PSHE curriculum skills of responsibility and citizenship. 

Our visits during the autumn term included sharing our favourite stories, performing Christmas songs and carols in mini concerts and sharing Christmas cards that we had created. We are looking forward to visiting our community partners again in the spring term.
