School Clubs

Change for Life - not running this term 

Image result for change for lifeA free sports club run by Mrs Wakeling, Mrs Buchanan, Mrs O'Keefe and Mrs Chilvers. This is for children in all year groups and the aim to promote sport and exercise and to lead a healthy active lifestyle.

Board Games

Drama Club - not running this term

Craft Club  

A free lunchtime club run by Mrs Payne and Miss Dalziel.Image result for art and craft club

After School Craft Club - Tuesday 3.15pm-4.15pm 

A club run by Mrs O'Keefe and Mrs Chilvers.
Held after school for children in Years 1 and 2 - this involves a new activity every half term with the first one being scrap booking.
The cost of this Club is £2 per week but we request payment in advance for the half term.

Computer Club - Thursday 3.15pm-4.10pm
 

                              A free club run by Mrs Lilley and Mr Lake.
Held after school for children in Year 2.

Cooking Club - not running this term
 

A club run by Mr Lake and Mrs Ellis.
Held after school for children in Year 1 and Year 2.
An opportunity for the children to prepare and cook some simple recipes (we will provide the ingredients but ask for a £5 contribution per term).

Choir - Monday 3.15pm-4.10pm 

A free club run by Mrs Rickard and Mrs Morrow.
Held after school for children in Year 1 and Year 2.
An opportunity for the children to sing a range of songs both familiar and new. 

French Club
 

A free lunchtime Club run by Mrs Leighton.
This Club is for children in Year 1.

Dance Club - not running this term 

A free club run by Miss Ellis.
Held after school for children in Year R and Year 1.
The children are taught dances to songs and have the opportunity to choreograph some of the dance themselves.

Karate - Tuesday 8.00am–8.45am  

Sama Karate before school club. Held in the school hall.
£5.00 pay as you go.

Snooker Club - not running this term 

A club run by World of Snooker.
Held after school for children in Year 1 and Year 2.
'Functional Snooker' combines the learning and playing of the game with the aim of advancing the students' social, literacy and numeracy skills. 

 

Football - Wednesday 3.20pm–4.20pm 

Football Club is run by Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club.
For children in Year 1 and Year 2.
Held on the school field when dry or in the school hall when wet.   For further details click on the link below.

FOOTBALL CLUB LETTER

Eco Gardening - not running this term 

A free club run by Mrs Owens for children in all year groups.  An opportunity for the children to grow a variety of vegetables and flowers, looking after the school grounds, and learning about looking after our environment.  

Lego Club - Thursday 3.15pm-4.15pm
 


A Club run by Mrs O'Keefe and Mrs Chilvers.
Held after school for children in Years 1 and 2.
An opportunity for the children to take part in fun Lego activities and games.
The cost of this Club is £1.50 per week but we request payment in advance for the half term.

Tennis - Thursday 3.15pm-4.05pm  

Tennis is run by coaches from Angmering-on-Sea Lawn Tennis Club as part of their community tennis programme. Held in the school hall.

Gymnastics - Thursday 8am-8.45am
 

A Club run by Premier Sport.  Children have the opportunity to engage and enjoy sport and develop their skills no matter their experience.

VIOLIN LESSON LETTER

Piano Lessons 

Individual piano lessons, taught by Ros Jenkins. Mrs Jenkins collects the children from their classroom and teaches in East Preston Junior School music room. 20 minute lessons cost £8.50 per lesson or 30 minute lessons cost £13 per lesson. Your child will need a piano or keyboard to practise on at home.
